How a Garment Becomes New Again

Every project starts with an inquiry and a close assessment of the garment and materials. This step helps define what can be changed, what should be preserved, and where the fabric may limit the redesign.

For dresses, skirts, shirts, and jackets, we shape the work around the original structure so the final piece feels intentional. If the concept needs extra materials, those are discussed separately before approval.

Redesign starts with the fabric you already have.

At Fit & Flair, remodelling and upcycling begin with a careful review of the garment, its construction, and the result you want to achieve.

We also work on vintage pieces and garments with personal value, where the goal is often to improve fit while respecting the original character. A written scope keeps the agreed work clear from the start.

Before any additional work is done, approval is requested. The garment is then reviewed again at collection so any final adjustment can be handled carefully within the agreed design.
